About This Opportunity
This position will support our organization in providing culturally safe health services to Indigenous people. As an Aboriginal Hospital Liaison Officer (AHLO), you will provide advocacy and liaison for Indigenous clients and their families navigating the health system.
Key responsibilities include coordinating cultural events, developing tailored education for staff, preparing reports on Indigenous matters, and supporting engagement and consultation with relevant Indigenous organizations and communities.
About You
This is an identified position - you must identify as being of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent to apply.
A strong communicator with excellent organizational and administrative skills is required. You should be able to prepare plans, submissions, and reports using Microsoft Office programs.
Essential Requirements
Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance and current satisfactory Employment Checks.
