About the Opportunity

This role offers a unique chance to work as a software technical support specialist.

Our team is seeking an individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and diagnose faults in various SCADA verticals and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Owning, investigating, and resolving complex software issues while proposing workarounds for customers.
  • Accurate and timely documentation of activities and findings in case management systems.
  • Contribution to digital self-help materials promoting faster problem resolution for customers and building a robust internal knowledge sharing platform.
  • Collaboration with colleagues in other support centers and departments.
  • Focusing on customer experience, contributing to successful interactions, and managing customer experience through regular and empathetic communication while keeping the focus on technical resolutions.
  • Continuous learning and active contribution to the team and our customers.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in application support within a top business, including proficiency working with and understanding software architecture, unit testing, and SDLC aspects.
  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering or Computer Science and a working understanding of software and automation hardware communications and setup.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience with AVEVA System Platform and Plant SCADA or GEO SCADA will be advantageous.
  • Ability to demonstrate understanding of Windows operating system, networking concepts, and security.
  • Knowledge of general Windows operating system tools and commands that help with diagnosing and troubleshooting software.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of integrating hardware and software.
