The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced AWS Sales Development Representative to join our Business Development Executives (BDE) team in Sydney. As a BDE, you will function as a solutioning expert, working closely with customers to understand their business needs and develop tailored cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively engage in outbound prospecting to generate appointments and qualify leads
  • Effectively market and sell AWS solutions to potential customers
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to discover and schedule appointments
  • Apply strong selling and influencing skills to secure qualified appointments
  • Provide high-level introductions to AWS cloud services and partner packaged offerings
  • Employ proven sales techniques to influence customer interactions
  • Log, track, and maintain outbound activity
  • Participate in sales meetings, vendor training sessions, and local trade shows
Requirements
  • Full-Time Work Rights in Australia
  • Ability to work in Sydney (hybrid workstyle: twice-a-week work at office)
  • 2~3 years of relevant AWS Business Development experience in Australia

  • Experience: Over 2 years of relevant experience in a sales or business development role
  • Communication Skills: Strong in-person, phone, and written communication skills
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of corporate IT and cloud services, with a specific emphasis on AWS
  • Presentation Skills: Capability to make formal and informal presentations to both internal staff and clients
  • Adaptability: Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift efforts based on departmental or business goals
  • Self-motivation: Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and stay self-motivated
  • Track Record: Demonstrated history of achieving significant results in positions with substantial accountability
  • Tech Enthusiasm: A genuine interest in pursuing a career in technology sales
  • Startup Mentality: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
