Job Description:
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Animal Care and Welfare Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our animal care department, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of animals in our care.
You will work closely with our animal care team to provide high-quality care and services to animals, including feeding, cleaning, and providing enrichment activities. You will also be responsible for monitoring animal behavior and reporting any concerns to management.
In addition to your animal care responsibilities, you will also assist with the coordination of animal adoptions, including preparing animals for adoption and working with potential adopters to find their perfect match.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional animal care and welfare services, including feeding, cleaning, and providing enrichment activities
- Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to management

- Work closely with the animal care team to ensure high-quality care and services are provided to animals
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in animal care or a related field
- A degree in animal science, biology, or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
