Animal Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Animal Care Specialist to join our team. As an Animal Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in the care of large agricultural animals and management of their facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Care for large agricultural animals ensuring their welfare is maintained at all times.
- Manage facilities and equipment to ensure they are safe, efficient, and meet animal welfare standards.
- Deliver high-quality technical support to underpin veterinary science teaching.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong practical experience in handling large agricultural animals.
- Demonstrated ability to manage farm facilities and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, academic staff, and colleagues.
- Current First Aid Certificate, C and MR Class Queensland Driver's Licence, Working with Children Blue Card, Q Fever vaccination or proof of immunity.
