Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to fill the role of Laboratory and Technical Support Advisor.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the care of large agricultural animals and management of their facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain facilities and equipment at the highest standard to ensure animal welfare standards are upheld.
  • Oversee the preparation of practical classes for veterinary science students.
  • Supervise and train others in safe animal handling and best practices.
  • Ensure students receive immersive, real-world experience that prepares them for veterinary practice.
Requirements:
  • Strong practical experience in handling large agricultural animals.
  • Ability to manage farm facilities and equipment in a safe, efficient, and welfare-focused manner.
  • Current First Aid Certificate and Queensland Driver's Licence.
  • Working with Children Blue Card and Q Fever vaccination or proof of immunity.
