About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients and provide individualized support to help them achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
  • Develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs for employers and employees.
  • Work collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to provide comprehensive support.
  • Conduct a variety of assessments, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments, to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, and identify suitable employment opportunities.
  • Provide case management services, including addressing psychosocial barriers to employment and identifying suitable employment opportunities for workers who have sustained workplace injuries or injuries sustained from motor vehicle accidents.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Exercise Physiology.
  • Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA or with ESSA plus SIRA Accreditation.
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded.
  • Fabulous communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy are essential qualities for this role.
  • Well-developed time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is a must.
