Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated F&B Ambassador to join our team.

This role involves providing exceptional service to our guests, working cohesively as a team member, and maintaining product knowledge of all menus and wine lists.

You will be responsible for undertaking general waiting duties, taking orders, serving guests, and ensuring that their requests are quickly and efficiently achieved.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a professional appearance, and the ability to work a rotating roster including weekends & public holidays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring that their requests are quickly and efficiently achieved.
  • Undertake general waiting duties, including taking orders and serving guests.
  • Work cohesively as a team member, supporting colleagues to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Maintain product knowledge of all menus and wine lists, advising and recommending to guests.
  • Ensure accurate receipt of monies and cash up of service periods.
  • Follow and implement all departmental procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and checklists.
  • Report any discrepancies in stock control and ensure that all checklists are completed prior to the conclusion of the shift.
Requirements
  • Highly motivated with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience within a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with guests and colleagues.
  • A professional appearance, representing Sofitel brand values at all times.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends & public holidays.
  • An up-to-date RSA certification.
