Job Title: Food Service Team Leader - Sofitel Darling Harbour

Sofitel Darling Harbour is a luxury hotel in the heart of Sydney, offering exceptional service and amenities to its guests. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Team Leader to join our team.

About the Role:

  • As a Food Service Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of food and beverage ambassadors, ensuring that they provide excellent service to our guests.
  • You will work closely with the Outlets Manager to implement and maintain Sofitel Brand Standards, as well as train and develop all ambassadors.
  • You will assist with guest billing, ensuring that it is completed accurately following Hotel standard operating procedures and that correct charges are posted.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of food and beverage ambassadors to deliver exceptional service to our guests.
  • Implementing and maintaining Sofitel Brand Standards, including training and development of all ambassadors.
  • Assisting with guest billing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Hotel procedures.
  • Liaising with customers and the Chef/kitchen brigade to ensure service times are adhered to.
  • Serving items with flair and professionalism, ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience.

Requirements:

  • Highly motivated and experienced leader with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with a team.
  • Able to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Holds a current RSA certificate.
