As a key member of the Canon team, you will be responsible for the planning and management of required inventory. Your primary focus will be on the procurement of merchandise, parts, and consumables via the Canon Product Planning team and 3rd party vendors. Additionally, you will be responsible for the administration of the Canon Professional Services rental management platform.

The scope of this role includes:


  • Analyzing and monitoring merchandise stock levels to maintain correct stock levels in line with company policies.
  • Reviewing and placing purchase orders for approved non-Canon products as and when required.
  • Efficiently planning and forecasting Canon and non-Canon items based on sales history, stock situation, and inventory targets.
  • Ensuring relevant stakeholders are advised on the estimated time of arrival of stock or awaiting items.
  • Raising sales and internal orders within the appropriate system as requested.
  • Managing Loan/Trial/Demo inventory and Capex order processing, including CPS and CEX rental equipment.
  • Processing stock write-off orders as required.
  • Effectively managing the backorder process of both Canon and non-Canon stock and communicating ETAs and fulfillment details to affected stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with the Supply Chain team to ensure stock takes are completed on time and in line with company policies.
  • Managing the system administration for the InspHIRE rental platform.
  • Training and educating the CPS and CEX teams on D365, including compliance processes.


About You

We are seeking a customer-oriented individual who understands what great service looks like and can deliver outcomes for our stakeholders and customers. You will have great data management skills, be comfortable interpreting data, and make appropriate forecast/purchasing volume decisions to meet defined supply rate targets. Ideally, you will have experience in inventory management and planning, coming from a corporate or retail environment. You will thrive in a professional and friendly corporate environment where your excellent communication skills and ability to multitask will see you excel.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
