Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receiving Officer to join our team at W Sydney. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for processing invoices and receiving reports, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our hotel's operations.
Responsibilities:- Verify and track received inventory, completing inventory reports and logs as required.
- Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Post invoices using computer programs, maintaining accurate records and files.
- Assist in deliveries and operations within the loading dock, ensuring smooth logistics and minimal downtime.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Hotel experience is an advantage, but not essential.
- The ability to lift packages up to 25kgs, with physical stamina and endurance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as Microsoft Office proficiency.
