Personal Care Worker/Companion Carer Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and client-focused Personal Care Worker/Companion Carer to join our dedicated team. As a Personal Care Worker/Companion Carer, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to clients across the region.

Our ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in mental health care, proven experience supporting neurodivergent clients, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, holistic care. You will work closely with Registered Nurses to deliver client-specific care, identify client care needs, and communicate effectively with clients, their families, and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and assist with daily activities, following the Client Care Plan.
  • Work closely with Registered Nurses to deliver client-specific care, including personal hygiene, toileting, nutrition, mobility, and more.
  • Identify client care needs and work collaboratively with the client's care team to ensure high-quality, holistic care.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and team members.

Qualifications & Essential Requirements:

  • Cert III in Aged Care/Disability (or equivalent).
  • Current Senior First Aid HLTAID011 , CPR HLTAID009 and Manual Handling HLTWHS005 (with 3+ months until expiry).
  • A roadworthy and insured vehicle with a current driver's licence.
  • NDIS Screening (or willingness to get).
  • Strong expertise in mental health care.

  • Multilingual abilities.
