Personal Support Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Assistant to join our team. As a Personal Support Assistant, you will provide personalized care and support to clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, client-focused care in line with each client's tailored care plan.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, toileting, nutrition, mobility, and more.
  • Collaborate with Registered Nurses to ensure seamless delivery of client-specific care.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Support clients with light housekeeping duties to promote independence.
  • Maintain accurate records of client care and report any concerns to the RN/Care Manager.

Requirements:

  • Certification in Aged Care or Disability (or equivalent).
  • Current Senior First Aid, CPR, and Manual Handling certifications.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Federal Police Clearance.
