We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Personal Care Specialist. This role involves providing exceptional care and support to clients in their own homes, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality personal care services to clients, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also work closely with registered nurses to ensure that each client receives the best possible care tailored to their specific needs.

You will identify areas where clients may require additional support and work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement effective care plans. Effective communication is key in this role, and you will need to build strong relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements
  • Cert III in Aged Care/Disability (or equivalent)
  • Current Senior First Aid, CPR, and Manual Handling qualifications
  • A roadworthy vehicle with a current driver's licence
  • NDIS Screening (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong expertise in mental health care
  • Ability to travel and flexibility with shifts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
