Job Title: Personal Support Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting individuals with daily living tasks, including personal care, mobility assistance, and light housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support to clients, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support clients with mobility aids, range-of-motion exercises, and non-sterile dressings.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and provide regular updates to the care team.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Requirements:

  • Cert III in Aged Care/Disability or equivalent qualification.
  • Current Senior First Aid, CPR, and Manual Handling certifications.
  • A roadworthy vehicle and a current driver's license.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with empathy for elderly clients.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards for home care.
  • Commitment to safety, infection control, and emergency procedures.
