Mechanical Shift Supervisor Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Shift Supervisor to coordinate planned maintenance activities and ensure shift safety and production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that maintenance schedules are achieved in accordance with weekly and daily plans and all statutory work is completed.
  • Ensure that mine priorities are complied with.
  • Provide feedback as to the quality of planned work and leadership to shift trades.

You will also be responsible for sample auditing of maintenance work to achieve required standards, driving a culture with shift trades of identifying faults and correcting them before they become downtime.

About You:

  • Prior experience working in Outbye, Development or Longwall operations.
  • Demonstrated history of working safely.
  • Commitment to the achievement of business goals and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • High level reasoning ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively plan and prioritise tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
