Mechanical Shift Supervisor

As a Mechanical Shift Supervisor, you will play a critical role in coordinating planned maintenance activities and ensuring shift safety and production targets are delivered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that maintenance schedules are achieved in accordance with weekly and daily plans.
  • Implement mine priorities and provide feedback on the quality of planned work and leadership to the shift trades.
  • Drive a culture within the shift trades to identify faults and correct them before downtime occurs.
  • Initiate contingency work when required and manage labour and equipment allocation to maximise safety and production.
  • Provide technical support to the shift trades and react to and control breakdowns.
About the Role

This position is based at Carborough Downs, reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent.
