Job Title: CHPP Operations Manager

About the Role
  • Lead a skilled team in achieving safe, efficient plant operations and fostering a collaborative culture.
  • Drive a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance, conducting investigations, and managing risks.
  • Coach and mentor team members to achieve performance and career development goals.
  • Oversee production targets, including feed rates, product quality, water management, and plant availability.
  • Supervise contractors, manage leave calendars, and ensure effective team coverage.

About You
  • Proven experience managing CHPP operations with a focus on safety, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Trade qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Fitting.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical maintenance, experience coordinating maintenance activities during breakdowns.
  • Comfortable working alongside the team, leading by example, and driving operational success.
  • An uncompromising commitment to safety with a solid understanding of risk management and hazard identification.
