About the Role

Transport for NSW is seeking a skilled Construction Surveillance Officer to join their team on the M6 Stage 1 project, a $3.1 billion infrastructure development delivering Sydney's deepest tunnels and connecting southern Sydney to the Greater Sydney motorway network.

This fixed-term opportunity until 26/12/2025 will allow you to make a significant impact on the transport network across Sydney while ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with transport specifications.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Join the M6 Stage 1 project team to oversee drainage, earthworks, pavement, bridges culverts, and retaining walls.
  • Facilitate utility relocations on brownfield sites.
  • Ensure site works meet safety, quality, environmental, and other standards.
  • Brief stakeholders on project progress and collaborate with contractors.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on project activities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have a strong understanding of civil or structural engineering principles and experience working in civil infrastructure projects. Ideally, you'll have worked as a team leader or site supervisor and possess keen analytical skills.

You'll thrive in an environment where you can work collaboratively with teams to achieve shared goals and provide expert advice on construction matters.

What We Offer

As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy a competitive salary range of AU$90,000 - AU$120,000 per annum (estimated), depending on your level of experience.
