The Project

">

The Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture is a 50/50 partnership between CPB Contractors and Downer to undertake major upgrades and replacements of existing infrastructure and facilities supporting Defence capabilities for the next 30 years.

This ambitious program comprises a series of works across three Department of Defence establishments:

  • Albury Wodonga Military Area (including North, South & East Bandiana, Latchford Barracks, Wirlinga)">
  • Blamey Barracks (Kapooka)">
  • RAAF Base Wagga">

A $1.7 billion capital investment will be allocated to various elements, including:

  • Construction of new messing and living accommodation">
  • Construction of new training facilities">
  • Refurbishment and upgrading of existing buildings">
  • Remedial works and upgrades to infrastructure services">

Your Opportunity

">

We are seeking experienced Senior Project Engineers to join our project team, responsible for effectively coordinating design, procurement, and construction aspects of the project to ensure safety, time, cost, and environmental objectives are met.

">

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

">
  • ">
  • Contributing to a culture of prioritizing safety above all else">
  • Actively coordinating procurement and construction elements">
  • Managing short and long-term construction planning for the works">
  • Developing and monitoring KPIs and productivity analysis against program and budget">
  • Liaising with subcontractors/suppliers and working closely with site personnel">
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements and company policies">
">

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • ">
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications">
  • Prior experience in commercial large construction projects">
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and reporting against cost and time">
  • Strong understanding of programme management, deadlines, and budget controls">
  • Strong attitude and awareness of Safety">
  • High-level verbal and written communication skills">

Estimated Salary Range
