About the role

Mandurah Baptist College is seeking to appoint an outstanding administrator to the role of Pathways Administration Assistant for a Maternity Leave cover. This is a six-month, part-time (0.8 FTE) contract position, with potential for extension.

The Pathways Administration Assistant provides administration support to the Pathways Coordinator, and assists in the running of the College’s workplace learning, work experience and careers programs.

This is a data, systems and processes focused role designed to support the optimum delivery of the pathways programs to students and attention to detail is essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, including staff, students, parents and industry stakeholders, are essential.

Profile

- A practising Christian with the passion to uphold the College’s strong Christian culture.

- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage responsibilities effectively.

- Ability to work collaboratively, cooperatively and confidentially in a team environment and consultative framework.

- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellent customer service and professional standards.

- Ability to use initiative and work within the College’s corporate standards.

- Expertise with the Microsoft Office suite, School Management Systems, or be capable of training in this capacity.

- Ability to provide a current Pastor/Minister’s reference / referee commendations if required

- Excellent communication skills

- A commitment to child safety and a Working with Children Check

- Valid Australian work rights to apply for this position
