About Us:
We are a busy mechanical and accessories workshop specialising in [4x4 upgrades / general automotive repairs / etc. We pride ourselves on quality service, honesty, and a friendly team environment. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an organized and proactive Administration Assistant to join our crew.
About the Role:
The Administration Assistant will be the first point of contact for customers and will play a key role in keeping the workshop running smoothly. This role suits someone who is friendly, efficient, and able to multitask.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls, emails, and greeting customers at reception
- Booking jobs and managing the workshop schedule
- Preparing invoices, purchase orders, and processing payments
- Data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Liaising with suppliers and ordering parts when required
- Assisting with social media posts and basic marketing (optional)
- General office duties such as filing, printing, and keeping the front office tidy
Skills & Attributes:
- Previous administration or receptionist experience (automotive or trade industry preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Competent with computers and basic office software (e.g. Xero / MYOB / Microsoft Office)
- Ability to stay organised in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to pitch in where needed
