An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated Accounts Receivable Assistant. The ideal candidate will be a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has outstanding attention to detail and time management skills with intermediate to advanced Excel / Microsoft suite skills. This position revolves tightly around customer service and strong admin and organisational skills. The Position
- Generate receivables documents as required in a timely manner
- Eensure the administrative functions of the debtor’s accounts are managed in compliance with the systems
- Continually generate trust with customers and colleagues
- Generate sales tax invoices and credit notes
- Assist with the issuing of customer statements
- Assist with processing payments including credit card and EFT
- Dealing with incoming phone queries
- Update account status records and collection efforts
- End of month account reconciliations
- Assist with updating Qantas Business Reward Database
- Ad hoc archiving of administration documents
About you
The successful candidate will have a good head for figures ready to grow their career in a Commercial Industry.
You will also have:
- Excellent communication skills and be able to build rapport quickly
- Experience in ERP systems, BC & MYOB preferred no essential
- Systems savvy including Word/Excel skills.
- A strong attention to detail
- Effectively work with and provide a high level of support to the Accounts Receivable Manager, Finance Officer, Director and external clients
- Confidence and proven ability to Reconcile complex scenarios.
- A high level of written and verbal communication skills
