THE OPPORTUNITY

Joining the finance team at our new Collins Square office, the Accounts Receivable Officer will work on a 12-month maximum term contract.

This role is responsible for undertaking day to day accounts receivable duties, including Collections. The key components pivotal to this role are:

- Process all accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Complete all invoicing and follow up payments, variances, and discrepancies.
- Manage the outstanding collections process for stage claim payments.

WHO YOU ARE

With background experience in a similar role, you are a positive team member who has:

- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and general accounting principles.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Proven ability to work well autonomously and in a team environment.
- Intermediate experience with accounting and ERP software.
- Strong ability to deal with difficult customers and build relationships at all levels.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Excel.
- Demonstrated familiarity with accounting software programs.
