Overview
Central Pharmacy Logistics Pty Ltd (CPL) is a small-to-medium pharmaceutical company committed to improving patient health and access to medicines. With a focus on quality, innovation, and compliance, we are expanding our team to support our finance and operational functions. CPL is also a bespoke manufacturing company licensed by the TGA to prepare and blind medications and treatments required for clinical trials. This service/delivery model helps patients take part in clinical trials from home, making it easier for them while reducing costs and improving recruitment and retention for sponsors.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in accounts payable and receivable roles, preferably in a small-to-medium or regulated industry (pharmaceutical/healthcare experience advantageous).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with an ERP or SAP system is highly desirable
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
Position Summary
Your duties will be to perform a range of general accounting duties. You will maintain complete sets of financial records, keep track of accounts, and verify the accuracy of procedures used for recording financial transactions through the relevant accounting software.
Key Requirements
- 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in the applicable industry
- Advanced user of relevant accounting software/s
- Intermediate Microsoft suite experience especially with Excel
- Payables and receivable’s experience
- Using initiative to ensure quality and efficient work
- Management of incoming queries, issues and day to day needs of your clients as they arise
- Delivery of results through innovation, implementation and team engagement
- Working autonomously and demonstrating a strong ability to deliver to expectations of requirements
- Have the ability to speak with clients across a variety of industries and backgrounds
- The ability to build, manage and maintain client relationships
Job Responsibilities
- Keep up to date with weekly payroll documents and ensure that all other statutory requirements
- Complete the BAS reconciliation and all other required related taxation obligations
- Conduct the required accounts payable, debtor management and collections of debtors as required
- Work on and maintain cash flow projections, management or payments, and relevant cost controls
- Assist in driving continuous improvement with the organisation
- Assist in general office administration duties as required
