An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated Accounts Receivable Assistant. The ideal candidate will be a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has outstanding attention to detail and time management skills with intermediate to advanced Excel / Microsoft suite skills,

The Position

  • Generate receivables documents as required in a timely manner
  • Eensure the administrative functions of the debtor's accounts are managed in compliance with the systems
  • Continually generate trust with customers and colleagues
  • Generate sales tax invoices and credit notes
  • Assist with the issuing of customer statements
  • Assist with processing payments including credit card and EFT
  • Dealing with incoming phone queries
  • Update account status records and collection efforts
  • End of month account reconciliations
  • Assist with updating Qantas Business Reward Database
  • Ad hoc archiving of administration documents

About you:

The successful candidate will have a good head for figures ready to grow their career in a Commercial Industry.

You will also have:

  • Excellent communication skills and be able to build rapport quickly
  • Experience in ERP systems, BC & MYOB preferred no essential
  • Systems savvy including Word/Excel skills.
  • A strong attention to detail
  • Effectively work with and provide a high level of support to the Accounts Receivable Manager, Finance Officer, Director and external clients
  • Confidence and proven ability to Reconcile complex scenarios.
  • A high level of written and verbal communication skills
