The Role
Kinross College is seeking a passionate Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) Teacher to join our team commencing Term 4, 2025. Applications from educators at all stages of their careers, including new and soon-to-be graduates, are welcome.
The successful applicant will ideally specialise in the HASS curriculum and contribute to a collaborative, supportive, and forward-thinking learning area. You would be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive programs that reflect the needs of our diverse school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the HASS team to plan and deliver high-quality curriculum
- Develop learning programs that are responsive to student needs and interests
- Use formative assessment and data to inform teaching and improve student outcomes
- Build respectful and productive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Differentiate instruction to support individualised learning and extension
- Integrate technology effectively into teaching practices; familiarity with Compass is desirable
