Salary: Teacher, $85,610 - $124,046 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2023)
Work Type: Fixed Term - Full Time

School: The Ashburton Drive Primary School motto is 'Dream, Believe, Achieve' and the school song is 'You Can Do It'. The WA Positive Behavior Support program guides school culture. Facilities include a Science laboratory, STEM area, music room, and access to interactive whiteboards, laptops and iPads. Specialist staff deliver Music, Physical Education, Science, Auslan, Wellbeing, and other programs. PEAC and other extension programs are available.
Role profile: We are seeking a primary teacher with exceptional interpersonal skills who communicates effectively and fosters genuine relationships with parents, students, and colleagues. The role requires establishing a positive and inclusive classroom, high expectations, a growth mindset, and support for students’ social and emotional development. Differentiation to meet diverse student needs and proficiency with a range of assessment tools to monitor progress and inform planning are desirable.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Eligible teacher qualification and registration.
- A current Working with Children Check (WA) and eligibility for a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check with a current Screening Clearance Number.
- Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or valid visa with work rights for the term of appointment.
