For your application to be successful, you should have:
- Previous leadership experience within a similar high-volume events or hospitality environment;
- Passion and enthusiasm for delivering an outstanding guest service experience;
- Ability to lead by example, train, coach and motivate and engage team members at the frontline;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills;
- Experience working with POS Database Systems and competent cash handling/management;
- Ability to perform manual handling and physically demanding work tasks;
- Availability to be rostered across five days flexibility with working hours is essential as weekend, early morning and evening work is involved.
Your new day-to-day:
- Lead and supervise SkyPoint Attendants during events, ensuring exceptional customer service and guest interaction.
- Lead day-to-day shift operations in our Bistro & Bar, ensuring smooth service delivery.
- Manage staff breaks and ensure efficient rostering to maintain adequate service coverage at all times.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings, communicating key operational updates, menu changes, and daily objectives to the team.
- Oversee event setup, operation, and pack down. Manual handling tasks are heavily included in this position.
- Collaborate with the Events Manager and other team members to ensure smooth event execution.
- Handle guest inquiries during events, ensuring timely resolution and a positive experience.
- Provide training for event and F&B staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills to meet event demands.
- Ensure venue and event spaces meet cleanliness and presentation standards before, during, and after events.
