**About the opportunity**

As the Function & Events Operations Manager, you'll lead a team of F&B professionals bringing events at our client's luxury hotel to life. Your friendly, professional approach & excellent communication skills will anticipate guests' needs, making sure they feel comfortable and satisfied throughout their time. Attention to detail and multitasking abilities will be key in this role, as you deliver exceptional service and leave a lasting positive impact with your guests.

**Key Responsibilities**

You will be a key member of the F&B leadership team at our client's beachfront property. Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage your responsibilities will include:

- Train and develop the events team in all aspects of their roles, ensuring they are knowledgeable and skilled to deliver exemplary service to guests.
- Seamlessly bring together months of planning to orchestrate breathtaking events that embody our client's premium brand standards
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, event planners and vendors to ensure repeat business and referral opportunities.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of events and guest experiences.
- Continuously seek innovative ways to improve and enhance the events operation, as well as keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Provide regular feedback and coaching to team members, recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
