Our Defence and Security Division team within our Australian business are looking for a Project Controls Manager to run our major multidisciplinary design projects supporting new build infrastructure in Adelaide. As well as leading these new and existing projects, this position will play an active role in improving our project controls processes and approach, driving both delivery excellence and efficiency in our business.

Responsibilities

- Cost control, budgeting, forecasting and monitoring
- Management of change control process
- Contract administration and control
- Providing cost information for the monthly reports and weekly manhour reports
- Managing the invoicing and payment process
- Providing cost information on discrete projects and packages
- Managing the budget including forecasting spend & monitoring earned value (if adopted)
- Play a leading role in developing the growth of our Defence business
- Provide mentorship to staff seeking to develop their knowledge and experience in delivery

About You

- 10-15 years of experience leading Defence and Nuclear project delivery in the fields of cost management
- Tertiary qualifications relevant to project management, cost management or accountancy
- Experience in civil or naval nuclear programs, radiopharmaceuticals, oil and gas or Rail (applicants from other high-hazard industries will be considered)
- Chartered Engineer or Project Manager (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to demonstrate successful delivery of major infrastructure programmes throughout the whole project lifecycle
- Current AU security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one)
