About the role
The role is responsible for supporting the Senior Accountant and Finance Department. The primary focus is to provide administrative, analysis and transactional processing of Accounts Receivables in the accounting system/s. The role requires a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, data management, and accountable for the end-to-end process of the Accounts Receivable function.
About you
- Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in an Accounts Receivable function or similar role. Previous Patient & Health Fund Billing experience is desirable.
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare written reports, deal with challenges creatively and add insights that provide business focused solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, and to interact positively, cooperatively and equitably with colleagues to ensure team objectives are met.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to diagnose, prioritise, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively manage busy workloads to meet demands of the role and deadlines, and work without supervision when required.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of the Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word and Powerpoint or equivalent software.
- Demonstrated commitment to the provision of high-level quality and customer focused services.
- Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah.
