About RP Infrastructure

RP Infrastructure (RPI) is one of Australia’s leading Project Management and Advisory practices, recognised for delivering complex and high‑profile projects across both Public and Private Sectors.

With a strong reputation for quality, collaboration, and client service, we offer Advisory, Project Management and Asset Management services across Education, Health, Civic & Culture, Industrial, Transport, and more.

Backed by our national growth and strong project pipeline, we’re now seeking a motivated Project Finance Officer to join our Finance team, at either our Sydney or Brisbane office.

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone with a few years’ experience in finance or accounting—perhaps in accounts receivable/payable, billing or finance admin—who is ready to take the next step into a project-focused support role.

As our Project Finance Officer, you’ll provide critical support to our Finance team and Project Managers, ensuring timely billing, accurate project financial data and smooth operations across our national portfolio. You’ll enjoy variety in your work, visibility across the business, and the opportunity to grow your knowledge in a consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparing and issuing client invoices and managing accounts receivable

- Supporting project budget tracking and forecasts

- Maintaining project financial records and assisting with reporting

- Liaising with project teams to ensure timesheet and billing accuracy

- Providing ad‑hoc administrative support to the Finance team as required

About You

- 1–3 years’ experience in a finance or accounts support role

- Confidence with Excel and familiarity with accounting systems

- A customer‑focused mindset and strong attention to detail

- Great communication skills and the ability to work across teams

- Experience in a professional services, construction, or project‑based business (preferred but not essential)

What We Offer

- A supportive, team‑focused culture where your development is encouraged

- A hybrid work model with flexibility (3 days in office / 2 days from home)

- A salary package (inc. super) $85,000–$100,000, commensurate with experience

- Exposure to a wide range of high‑profile projects across Queensland

- National growth = future career opportunities

Apply now to grow your finance career with purpose. If you’re looking for a finance role that offers variety, learning, and a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.
