Job Description
- Prepare and manage financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections.
- Handle budgeting and forecasting for property portfolios.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Reconcile financial records and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with property managers to optimise financial performance.
- Assist in the preparation of audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial efficiency.
- Support ad hoc financial projects and analyses.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Property Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accreditation such as CPA or CA (or working towards).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in the property industry or a similar sector.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
