The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the sales process to ensure efficiency, productivity, and alignment with overall business objectives. This role involves overseeing sales data analysis, CRM management, sales forecasting, and the development of sales strategies and processes. The Sales Operations Manager works closely with the sales team, marketing, finance, and other departments to drive sales performance and support the company's growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Oversee tender responses, proposals, quotes, and eCommerce platform (onboarding, pricing, customer portals).
- Improve deal qualification processes and response quality to boost win/loss outcomes.
- Develop and implement scalable sales processes, procedures, and customer success programs.
- Align sales processes with business goals, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.
- Build and deliver sales enablement programs for team capability.
- Manage and maintain CRM, ensuring accurate data and effective team usage.
- Evaluate and implement sales tools to support efficiency.
- Analyse sales data, provide reports/dashboards to COO, and track KPIs.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customers.
- Collaborate with COO on forecasting, targets, and performance monitoring.
- Partner with marketing on lead generation campaigns.
- Maintain competitive pricing across services and government procurement portals.
- Build, mentor, and develop the sales operations team for sustained delivery.

Qualifications

- Established in sales operations, sales management, or a related role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with various stakeholders.
- Experience with sales forecasting and budgeting.
- Knowledge of sales methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to develop and implement long-term sales strategies.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop solutions.
- Ability to lead and motivate the sales team to achieve goals.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and environments.
