In our Business Support team we have a variety of our clients requiring Project experience individuals to join their major projects.

These temporary positions are full time, Mon‑Fri, 38 hours a week, 6‑month assignments with possibility of extension for the right candidate.

Location: Perth CBD, East Perth; Redcliffe, Nedlands.

Rates: $45‑65 dependant on experience.

Contract: Temp + possible extension.

Open to state government Levels 3‑4.

Responsibilities

- Assisting a range of programs and projects, or components of complex programs and projects which support the Department's initiatives.

- Working productively and collaboratively as a member of the team, and across teams; contributing to the development and delivery of priority projects, programs.

- Monitoring and evaluating project and program effectiveness and performance. Undertakes research and analysis; gathering and documenting relevant data and information to assess policy outcomes.

- Consults and negotiates with industry, government agencies and other relevant stakeholders on key initiatives.

- Depending on the specific role, duties may involve performing internal audits, supporting investigations, and contributing to the strategic and operational planning of the branch.

- Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects. This includes developing project plans, conducting research and analysis, and drafting reports and discussion papers.

- Develops and maintains productive relationships with a range of stakeholders within and external to the Department.

- Monitor and evaluate all aspects of project implementation, including risk and contingency management, benefits realisation, project impact and quality measures, to identify and address issues, assess project progress and effectiveness, and achieve project outcomes.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of business processes and strategic projects, including policy and legislation development.

- Manage project team/s, ensuring compliance with governance and quality requirements, to successfully deliver all key project/s milestones and outcomes.

- Undertake research and formulate recommendations to support evidence based project planning and decision making.

Essential Criteria

- Government experience

- Updated Police Clearance

- Project skills including project planning, development, implementation and evaluation, with the ability to achieve project outcomes

- Research, analysis and problem solving including the use of data analysis tools

- Provision of advice and information including preparation of high level reports, plans, budgets, and correspondence

- Project admin adhoc duties.
