About the role
- The Project Coordinator will lead improvements in operational efficiency and business outcomes, including the experience of clients and families within the Community Care division.- This role will be tasked with developing the project delivery plan and ensure key milestones are achieved. The Project Coordinator will manage all aspects of the project from end to end including planning and implementation tasks and organisational change requirements.
- _ _A 6-month part time project will commence in February 2023 to deliver the agreed recommendations that provide a wide range of aged care supports and services to our consumers who live in the community.**What we do**
- Jewish Care Victoria, a not-for-profit organisation, is the largest provider of aged and community services for the Jewish Community in Victoria. Services include Aged Residential Care, Assessment Referral and Individual Support Services, Community Aged Care, Disability, Mental Health, Youth and Family Services and Holocaust Survivors Programs.**The Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and undertaking the project following suitable project management methodology
- Development of the project plan including project outputs and outcomes in accordance with the project plan
- Implementation and evaluation of the project within time frames
- Developing and managing relationships with key internal stakeholders in relation to the project
- Coordinating all stakeholder engagement in the project including accountability for the steering committee
- Organising various opportunities for stakeholders to be able to offer their opinions including workshops, meetings and one on one discussions
- Delivering feedback, reports, presentations as required to internal stakeholders to ensure stakeholders are adequately informed of the progress and outcomes of the projects
- Provide timely, relevant and effective communication to stakeholders throughout the project
- Ensure project milestones are achieved and reported upon
- Ealuate strategies implemented and review to ensure continuous improvement
- Preparation of monthly reports to Organisation Improvement Manager, Governance Committee’s or as required

**The Role requires**
- Positively and professionally supporting and promoting the organisation and aged care divisions at all times

- Maintaining confidentiality and privacy throughout the community care services with regard to clients and stakeholders
- Promoting a team approach at all times by supporting staff and colleagues in their role and assisting them as required
- Adhering to the prescribed standards of dress and presentation of the organisation at all times and when attending business related functions/activities
- Adopting a flexible approach to agreed hours of employment as required whilst ensuring all tasks and functions are completed within mutually agreed timeframes

**To be successful in this role you must have**
- A high level of commitment, integrity, honesty and trustworthiness
- Demonstrated understanding of the role and function of Aged Care/Community Care services within the Australian Health and Aged Care System
- Ability to identify emerging trends in aged care/community services and their likely impact on JCV services to ensure best practice
- An effective listener with the ability to communicate at all levels both orally and in writing with excellent presentation skills
- Clear thinker with lateral problem-solving skills and an ability to convert complex ideas into simple, understandable and workable actions to ensure positive outcomes
- Able to multitask, prioritise, delegate and manage the delegation process to ensure appropriate outcomes within expected or non-negotiable timeframes
- Ability to understand and use information technology and programs such as Word, Excel, clinical documentation systems etc and to learn new skills as required

**Essential**
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience within the Aged Care Sector with a successful and proven track record
- Tertiary qualifications in health/aged care or relevant field or substantial relevant experience in working within the industry
- Sound project management/continuous improvement experience
- Sound knowledge of the Aged Care Standards
- Sound knowledge of Community Care services

**Desirable**
- Relevant formal Project Management certifications (e.g. PMBOK, Prince2, PMP, Agile)
- Relevant Continuous Improvement certifications (e.g. Lean, Six Si
