- Jewish Care Victoria, an all for purpose organisation, is the largest provider of aged and community services for the Jewish Community in Victoria. - This role will be part of a dynamic and driven team, and is dedicated to supporting the effective operations of the People & Development department in the delivery of quality, timely P&D services for Jewish Care (Victoria) and participate in a variety of projects where your contribution will be essential to the success of the team.- This is a real opportunity to step up, take ownership and make a difference.**_ Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:_**
- Participate in People & Development projects including but limited to employee engagement survey, policy & procedure reviews and other initiatives as directed;
- General administrative assistance for People & Development Team including maintaining employee records, manage the People & Development inbox and monitor the P&D compliance and policy administration at all levels;
- Provide timely and accurate advice to managers and employees on general P&D matters including policies, practices and key processes, position descriptions, conditions of employment, performance management and other related issues;
- Support the People & Development team with workers compensation, injury management and end to end recruitment;
- Assist with P&D Business Partners with the preparation of monthly P&D Reports;
- Coordinate, deliver and report on training and education (including external, internal and online training) and the monitoring of compliance against training requirements;
- Write monthly People & Development communications and regular newsletters.

**What you will bring**:

- Exceptional organisational and communication aptitudes, coupled with strong professional and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role will be preferred and exposure to the Aged Care Industry would be highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint) and knowledge and experience in using HRIS systems
- Exceptional attention to detail combined with the ability to manage conflicting tasks in a timely manner.
- Effective time management skills with an ability to successfully manage a number of different projects and tasks simultaneously will be key to this role.
- A high degree of autonomy, be self-driven and able to manage your own work load whilst supporting the wider team.
