**The Role**
ASD is seeking officers to work in Change Management including:

- Transformation change management & business readiness
- Communications
- Learning & Development

Key duties and responsibilities include:

- Work with the Director of Change Management to implement a change management approach to enable successful completion of the ASD Program Delivery Plan, ensuring that changes identified are assessed for impact, planned and managed.
- Proactively provide specialist advice to stakeholders on the design, development, implementation and evaluation of a range of internal and external learning & development, and/or communication products and activities.
- Manage the accurate completion of work within timeframes and quality requirements, share your expertise with others and guide and mentor junior employees.
- Prepare reports and briefings for senior government officials.

We are seeking energetic, highly organised and outcomes oriented Change and Communications professionals to provide specialist expertise in areas to include change management, stakeholder engagement and awareness-raising activities, content development, digital platforms, social media, external media and corporate communications.

You will support the agency by providing communication and change management activities across all streams of the program to ensure changes are planned and managed effectively. You will support the strategic management of ASD’s public profile, identifying and developing promotional opportunities, and ensuring the quality and consistency of ASD messaging.
Our primary aim is to ensure the work of ASD is well understood, recognised and respected across government and the Australian community.

As a **Change Management Officer** you will have:

- Experience in planning, managing and evaluating internal and/or external change management initiatives such as: communications, learning & development, logistics & project planning and/or stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- PROSCI or equivalent certification desirable, not essential.
