**The Role**

The duties of an
**ASD 4, 5, 6 RF Security Specialist **include the following (note: not all duties are required to be performed during a 12-month performance cycle):
1. Actively contribute to a growing team of specialists who develop and deploy unique Australian EMSEC capabilities to resist attack from our most capable adversaries.

2. Thrive in a high-paced environment with a variety of work and opportunities.

3. Liaise with other ASD security stakeholders to complete technical product assessments, threat modelling and EMSEC hardening of secure assets.

4. Evaluate evolving technologies and develop risk mitigation processes and treatments using state of the art tools.

5. Undertake technical research and/or development to modernize Australia’s EMSEC capabilities.

6. Support the development and delivery of Australian sovereign EMSEC policy and training.

ASD’s Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) is seeking to fill multiple specialist roles within the Emanation Security (EMSEC) team - Trust & Assurance (TA) Branch.
