    About the Role

The Australian Signals Directorate is seeking to fill a Storage and Backup Administrator position, at the ASD5, ASD6 and EL1 levels, within the Enterprise Technology Division's (ETD) Storage and Backup team.


  • The Backup & Storage Administrator is responsible for providing management and technical support for the day to day backup and storage operations. This includes validating backup integrity, performance and capacity management of storage systems and implementing improvements to data storage platforms.

  • And have knowledge of any of the following:
  • Enterprise ICT storage systems (Hitachi Vantara / Pure Storage / Cisco MDS/Fabrics)
  • Enterprise ICT Backup systems
  • CommVault
  • Storage and Storage Area Network engineering: Design / Analysis of ArraysEligibility
