**The Role**

Executive Officers are being sought for both Band 2 and Band 3 Senior Executive Service (SES) Officers for several ASD Divisions and Groups, respectively. As an EO in ASD you will:

- Contribute to shaping ASD’s strategic direction by providing tailored advice and support to the SES officer and their Executive team.
- Facilitate Division or Group input and tasking requirements to achieve operational activities and governance requirements.
- Coordinate the development of high-quality correspondence and advice to ASD SES, the Defence Minister and other Government Officials.
- Prepare correspondence and meeting materials to assist the SES perform the duties required of them.

- Actively manage and promote relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including liaison and limited negotiation at senior levels.
- Work closely with the Executive team, including the Executive Assistant, to identify and resolve issues that may impact the successful execution of the SES responsibilities.
