**The role**

This position plays a key role in supporting the delivery of Gippsland Water’s media and stakeholder relations functions, including high quality engagement and public relations programs that strengthen the organisation’s reputation and relationships.

**What you’ll bring**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
- An understanding of public relations and issue management concepts
- Media relations experience - either as a journalist, public relations or media advisor
- Skills in supporting the negotiation, facilitation and influencing of outcomes
- Ability to edit with attention to detail
- Highly developed written, oral and presentation communication skills
