**The role**

This position is central to the delivery of Gippsland Water’s media and stakeholder relations functions, and is accountable for coordinating the delivery of high quality engagement and public relations programs that strengthen the organisation’s reputation and relationships.

**What you’ll bring**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
- Demonstrated experience in leading and coordinating the activities of a small team
- Strong understanding of public relations and issue management concepts and practices
- Senior media relations experience - either as a journalist, public relations or media advisor
- Proven track record in negotiating, facilitating and influencing outcomes
- Ability to edit with attention to detail and political acumen
- Highly developed written, oral and presentation communication skills
