**About the Role**:
National Parks and other protected areas cover a vast area of South Australia and involve a suite of complementary and conflicting land uses, legal and policy challenges, and community expectations. The Team Leader, Park Strategic Projects provides very high-level policy advice and leads the delivery and implementation of strategic projects to resolve complex protected area management issues. The Team Leader supervises a senior team that delivers high profile commitments such as the proposed Flinders Ranges World Heritage listing and protected area related legislative reform.

**Essential Qualifications**:
- A tertiary qualification in public policy or law is highly desirable.
**Special Conditions**:
- May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
- A current class “C" driver's licence and willingness to drive is essential.
- Inter and intrastate and remote area travel is required, including travel in light aircraft.
- May be required to work outside of the normal hours of work, including the occasional overnight absence.
**Remuneration**:
ASO8 $119,317 min - $123,822 max p.a.
