About the role
Permanent full time and/or part time opportunity to support the delivery of a seamless administrative support service for the patients, relatives, visitors and multidisciplinary healthcare team of the ward and STARS.
About you
- Provide professional and high-level administrative support to all patients, visitors and employees, demonstrating understanding, empathy and patience, while ensuring confidentiality, tact, diplomacy and discretion.
- Contribute to patient flow efficiencies on the ward and throughout the hospital by liaising with a range of staff to coordinate appointments, transfers resources and patient movements on behalf of patients in a timely manner, including booking of interpreters where required.
- Perform duties such as searches, admissions, discharges of patients, booking Public and Private outpatient appointments, including the completion of associated documents/records as per policy and procedure.
- Maintain the Ward Inpatient checklist and ensure all relevant data is collected, uploaded and updated.
