**About the opportunity**:
John Holland’s Infrastructure division is currently constructing some of Queensland’s most complex projects, including the Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 3, Lake Macdonald Dam Improvement and Cairns Water Security Stage 1 amongst others.

To reflect the enormous State and Government investment into Queensland over the next 10-15 years, John Holland is currently seeking a Strategy, Customer & Markets Manager based in Brisbane.

**Responsibilities of the role include**:

- Develop, nurture, and sustain enduring relationships with customers and stakeholders, including peak bodies, government entities, community groups, supply chain partners, designers, consultants, and end users.
- Identify and prioritise major prospects in line with short to medium strategic goals and determine the probability of winning a project
- Develop and lead winning prospect strategies up until formal EOI and Tender phase. Work with pre-contracts teams to support conversation of prospects to projects through the EOI/Tender phase by advocating win themes and customer priorities
- Contribute to the development, establishment, and implementation of strategic plans spanning 0-5 years.
- Promote John Holland's capabilities and position John Holland Infrastructure in the market
- Identify new market sectors and develop and implement strategies to effectively penetrate those markets

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Tertiary Qualifications in Construction, Commerce, Engineering, or Science is preferred. Other backgrounds will be considered.
- Significant experience in business development and or tendering
- Experience working with government entities
- The ability to quantify business risk and return on investment
- The ability to work in a fast-paced tendering environment
- Strong ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders
