We currently have an opportunity for a Waste Management Officer to join the Waste Services Team. As Waste Management Officer you will get to provide the Kiama Municipality community with high quality and effective waste education and awareness programs that contribute to minimise waste and litter, reduce recycling contamination and increase resource recovery.

**What we offer...**
- Temporary full time, 35 hours per week until 31 March 2025.
- Annual salary from $76,450.40 to $90,961 (salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience)
- Plus 11% superannuation
- Mobile Phone

**What you'll need to be successful in the role...**
- Diploma in Waste Management/Education or equivalent
- Class C Driver’s Licence.
- Experience presenting to community groups, schools and individuals.
- Understanding of waste minimisation and management programs.
- Ability to develop, implement and evaluate community education programs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in MS Office suite.
