**About the role**:
A vacancy exists for a highly motivated Administration Assistant with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team.

Within the framework of the Mission, Vision, Values and philosophy, as well as the Policies of St Vincent’s Hospital, the IBAC Administration Officer will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Directors of HIV, Immunology & Infectious Diseases Unit, and support for the daily and ongoing operational demands of the Immunology and Infectious Diseases Ambulatory Care Department.

**Selection Criteria**:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia.
2. Demonstrated experience in administrative support in a health, hospital or medical environment
3.Effective organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines with high-level organisational skills.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building capabilities, including high-level oral and written communication skills with the ability to be compassionate and display a sensitive approach when dealing with challenging behaviors.
5. Experience using computerised patient registration or clinical information systems
6. Demonstrated experience working autonomously and within a team environment
7. Competent in use of Microsoft Office computer programs, such as Word & Excel
