Alongside these offerings, we provide a syndicated national news service, a prayer helpline, and an online store designed to support individuals in seeking God daily.
As the ministry’s Assistant Company Secretary, you will be pivotal in ensuring corporate governance, compliance, organisational communication, and Executive support. This role requires a specialised person with high attention to detail, a professional communication style and strong organisational alignment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Supporting the coordination of all board meetings, assisting in preparing meeting documents, taking minutes and maintaining digital and hard copy record-keeping systems.
- Assisting the Executive Team in planning and coordinating all Board meetings, including booking facilities, catering and making travel arrangements for Board members and guests.
- Assisting the Company Secretary with coordinating the execution of all corporate documents and maintaining various risk management and compliance registers and reports.
- Managing travel arrangements for the Executive Team per needs, priorities and schedules.
- Maintain files and records, draft, review and distribute communications, agendas, reports and presentations proactively based on understanding project or task objectives.
- Focusing on continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring organisational objectives and communication effectiveness.
- Assisting the Executive in the preparation of receipts and claims.
**Requirements for the role**:
**The ideal applicant will have**:
- Appropriate industry and sector qualification(s) with proven experience.
- Experience with NFP communications and Christian-motivated charities.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally, influence others, and problem-solve.
- Experience with Board and C-level Executive support.
- Great cross-organisational communication skills.
- Proven ability to multitask in a busy environment and good time management skills.
- Strong awareness and motivation in the pursuit of excellence.
- Able to change gears at short notice, calmly prioritising and acting even under pressure.
- Mature, balanced and wise judgment.
- Willingness to align with our organisation’s **mission, values, and core beliefs**.
